Inserting a LyX formula into the Moodle answer form
- Run the lyx command to start the \( \LaTeX \) editor, then click the new document button.
- Use the Ctrl+M shortcut to enter the math mode.
- Type your \( \LaTeX \) formula, for instance type a then ^ to enter in a superscript context.
- Type 2 to complete the formula, then select it and use the Ctrl+C shortcut to put it in the clipboard.
- Start the equation editor on Moodle.
- Paste your formula into the equation editor with the Ctrl+V shortcut. It will be entered as a \( \LaTeX \) formula.
- Insert your formula into the answer form by pressing the bottom gray button.
